There is a colour frontspiece and 7 full page colour illustrations with tissue guards. There are numerous black and white illustrations, quite bizarre at times. The is a name-plate "from the library of the Gayer-Anderson Hostel for Art Students Lavenham". There is a stamp with the same wording on the inside of the rear cover. other than some slight browning the book is in excellent condition. There are 179 pages and 8 pages on illustrated books and their artists. Overall in very good condition.
