The Tale of Lohengrin, Willy Pogany illustrator. This is the rare full pebbled leather, first edition c1911. It is undated.  The spine has gilt lettering and the front has elaborately tooled ornamentation. There is some minor wear to the covers.Front and end-papers have detailed green, brown and slate images. There are eight tipped-in colour plates and numerous monochromatic, two and three colour illustrations on heavy, good quality grey paper. Unpaginated.  This book is possibly Pogany's finest work.
